welcome to my website's bringing together my closest passions, each with their own unique styling. i introduced the uk4u charity intending to leave it online for the christmas period however, as a worthy cause i have chosen to leave it here. the charity was founded to provide christmas gift boxes as 'a gift from the nation' to all those serving in the armed forces overseas or in hospital separated from their family and loved ones. the sos unit to the right has some very unique ways in which you can show your support for our very brave men and women, separated from their families. like the uk4u program they can help with the shoe box' scheme, but doing so at all times of the year. they have some very novel schemes including collecting used stamps, get well cards for the medical centre in afghanistan encouraging people of all ages to help, the cost of a simple stamp can go a long way to supporting our troops. i have also just updated the page adding references to the "help for heroes" campaign, another worthy cause. i hope you feel encouraged as we have, and will consider contributing to the charities here. the wreck of the rohilla whitby art society was commissioned to produce a range of paintings which tell the story of the rohilla's loss, they are now part of the rnli touring exhibition. thereafter a stunning book was produced which contains pictures of the 64 agency, it was quite an honour to be awarded the commission. my third book and the one i hold as the most dear to me. when i began writing the book i had no idea how much of a journey it would take me been asked in the past about my website endeavours and what my personal background is, to that end the link in the photograph leads to the "epidermoid brain tumour society" website. i was asked to compile content for a personal page and my results are at the top of the page and is comprehensive enough to detail my background. it is fair to say that i have had some problems to overcome and in many ways my websites keep me occupied, leaving me little room to dwell on my past. having the brain tumours has meant some drastic lifestyle changes but i remain resolute that at least they are slow
